Just a gentle reminder, folks.... If you copy/paste information from a website such as Wikipedia, the chances are that there will be hidden links within the text to other entries on the website. These usually appear like this (example only - not a link ). This is okay if it is from a website that is neither commercial nor asks for donations. But.... it is easy to get caught out. These hidden links in posts are checked by us and any that should not be there are edited. However, it would be a great help if you could make sure that they are not there in the first place. Thank you.
It's not just Wikipedia - I have also had to remove links to Ancestry, Find My Past and other commercial websites.
I'm sure I've been there on the (not so) odd occasion too Sis, but I'm pretty sure I had company (once). Maybe I've not done anything recently to be sent back - or maybe the Tower Guards have been napping? Not sure, but I doubt the napping bit somehow. They do seem to have that extra eye which points in the required direction and then goes "BEEP BEEP". Put my escapes down to pure luck, because I can't see me turning over a new leaf. Of course you never can tell!!

Why do you think I appear so often on General Chatter posts, Sis? Have always said I wear my (ever widening) yellow streak of cowardice with pride. Here I can freely be my usual self and there are no repercussions, Don't think I've had many "serious" conversations in my whole entire life without OP creeping in so keeping on the straight and narrow when required is a massive challenge!!
I wonder if there could ever be a distinct & separate forum for those who just want to vent or chat about something they know not what or don't want to see on everlasting posts.?
