    Could someone tell me who this Matilda belongs to please.
    1861 Matilda Griffiths, daughter age 1 born West Bromich with brother Thomas 2 and lodger William Jones. Residence Rydding Lane.

    Darned if I can find the elusive 2 year old Matilda on the 1861, under any surname. A few Matildas with grandparents but the surnames don't match.

    A marriage on FreeBMD of a Matilda Griffiths to either William Joseph Lee or Isaiah Mason Dec 1880 Dudley.
    Edited to add......
    Matilda, 20, born Tipton and Joseph Lee 23 plus baby Joseph are boarding with the Palmers at Ct13 Horsley Heath, Dudley.

    Curiosity made me look up ‘puddler’. Another name for a forgeman in the iron industry..apparently :)

    Well Eliza's birth certificate has helped tremendously....NOT :sceptical:

    It just says her mother was Mary Lambert formerly Griffiths. :rolleyes:

    What about the 'Small' I wanted a 'Small' :mad::mad:
