So happy for you two lovebirds!!! As you know, (but others may not) O/H has battled prostate cancer for 15 years now!! Last year was one of two rather scary episodes but over now thanks to radiation & meds and all 'relatively' well!! So get on with a normal life and I send you both huge hugs and best wishes for enjoying your new home!
Oh we’ve had that one as well, ten years ago but they just whipped it out and life continued on. Thank you Heather and everyone else who has sent good vibes our way. You’re a great bunch. Off to see what the travel agent has to offer this morning.
What heat? It’s late November and we had to fire up the gas furnace yesterday. We moved away from the coast and the humidity. Still gets hot here but it’s a drier heat. Summers are shorter up here in paradise. Our first trip will be across Oz in the train. A birthday trip next May if we can get a seat. It’s a very popular thing to do when you are a geriatric. Still looking at options of things to see and do when we get to the other side.
Well......oncologist wants 6 more chemo cycles over 12 weeks, starting probably next week. Not the news we were after, however.......there could be ten little cancer cells lurking in the bloodstream just waiting for a chance to grab a new hiding place and multiply themselves into 10 thousand little blighters. We are after a cure not a wait and see. So another 6 cycles will hopefully do its bit and destroy them if they are there. Not so bad after all but I’m not the one enduring it. The three months will fly by.
We can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully its our train to Perth WA. As long as it stops to pick us up.
