I share a birthday with 2 of my living 1st cousins, the cousins are brother and sister born 5 years apart. My Aunty died on my sisters birthday and I nearly ended up the same way on my brothers birthday.

And your brother would have never forgiven you for spoiling his birthday. Siblings are like that.
What would we have done without you. :(

My brother doesn't do birthdays or Christmas or any other anniversary where it may cost him money. He saves all his money for his holidays abroad, he has 5 or 6 a year.

My dad and his grandfather share the same date for an event unfortunately it was their death date just 18 years apart:(

On a happier note my nans birthday was a day before her sons (my uncle) and my sisters.

My great great grandmother died on the winter solstice, her parents wedding anniversary, the first one her mother had as a widow. She was buried on Christmas Day.

FIL's brother died on the day my son was born, as did my brother 3 years ago.
My nephew was born on my dad's birthday, and my niece on my uncles.

Some years ago I was put in touch with an elderly lady whose great grandmother was my ggg grandmother. We never met but wrote to each other regularly (real pen & ink letters!)

I moved home every few years as a child-my dad was in the forces-and she spent almost all her life in a Hampshire town.
We were amazed to realise that she was a school dinner lady at my junior school in that same town-I was only there for a year but we must have met!
