we woke up this morning to......AUTUMN The trees have even started to turn amber and gold up here. Thank heavens Summer is done. Now for some rain so the lawn seed can grow. The bob cat wrecked what we had in the way of lawn putting down a new paved area. The evenings here are gloriously cool and still.
You can have some of our rain, it never stops at the moment. Im lucky, no floods but not the same for others sadly. Fire, floods and locusts, what a carry on the world is going through at the moment.
Not much you can do about it is there, except take advice and be careful. Some years ago my wife and I went on a couple of cruises and each time there was a bout of stomach/bowel problems going through the ship, that was bad enough never mind the Coronavirus. Although we took precautions I always felt some luck was in play, fortunately we never had a problem.
Some luck in play. We booked a balcony room. Our friends booked inside rooms. Fingers crossed. At least we can breath fresh air if we are stuck in quarantine in port somewhere.
No sign of Autumn down here yet. On the TV news today, Aussie summers are longer now than they used to be.
My weather station is advising of possible rain coming but it stated that last week and nothing happened, doesn't look anything like rain at the moment, it's 11.45 am, 32.3 C sunny with a bit of high cloud
Look at us. We should get a job at the BoM For updated weather forecast just look out the window. It’s a bit more reliable.
Just thought I'd better mention the "my weather station" is just that, mine, i.e. one I bought and installed.
My memory of Summer is of it's continuance into March making kids at school very uncomfortable. Perhaps it was just here in the South?
