PDF certificates, any coming through?

I ordered a PDF birth certificate on 7th April, and I know it's going to be delayed, of course. Has anyone received one recently and how long was it since the date of the order?

 

Probably get mine which should be coming through the post (PDF not available for marriages) and had a despatch date of 20 April some time next year then

 

I ordered marriage on the 24 March and it was suppose to be sent 30 March.No show yet.
I contacted them and had this reply on the 14 April.

Nothing down for me then ..... (Sigh!)

 

I ordered one early last week. Looks like i'm going to be waiting a long time!

 

I've been desperate for several PDFs over the last six weeks but just haven't bothered ordering, knowing how departments are operating at the minute. Most are still trying to equip their employees with home computers, so... I think I'll just wait.

 

I've just seen an email from a lady- don't know residence- who ordered pdf on 21 March & received it 'today ' 27 Apr. So over there somewhere.

I would love the marriage certificate I ordered to arrive - hopefully it will help with Irish side of the family I am looking at. When I looked today, it still said order was being processed

 

Royal Mail are stopping Saturday deliveries from this weekend until further notice.

 

We've had disrupted deliveries for the last month. They only deliver every other day, owing to reduced staff.

 

I have just received the marriage certificate that I ordered on the 24 March.The long wait was worth it because I have the correct people.

 

Does your postman come on Saturdays? Must be 40 years ago that it happened here.

 

Last Saturday was the first time that there was no delivery and it is because of Coronavirus.Safety of their staff.
Because it was privatised some wonder if Saturday post will return after lock down.

 

I have no idea why I put the happy birthday smilie up. Excitement I suppose.
