    Hello,

I’ve been using Ancestry and FMP, but drawn a blank on these:

Christopher Lofthouse, died on the 5th of May 1874 (buried in Upper Dunsforth)
Hannah Lofthouse, died in 1888 (buried in Upper Dunsforth)
Jane Eliza Linley, died in Rothwell Haigh on the 17th of May 1904 (probably buried in Lofthouse, as her husband was)
John Boulton, died at Leeds Infirmary on the 7th of May 1933 while living in Middleton. First wife had been interred at Hunslet Cemetery, but he doesn’t come up as being there in 1933, although there is an older John Bolton in September 1933

    I’d greatly appreciate any help!

    Adam

Excellent, thanks! That’s two loose ends nicely tied-up.

There is a tree on Ancestry that has a photo of the gravestone of Christopher and Hannah Lofthouse. Apparently, it is at St. Mary's Churchyard, Lower Dunsforth, Yorkshire.

Christopher died 5 March 1874 (which ties in with his death reg - March quarter). Hannah died 22 February 1888 - according to the headstone.

I had seen that gravestone. I’ve since contacted the church to take a look, and they’ve kindly agreed. Fingers crossed

Does this mean their surname is Lofthouse as well as the place name?

Unfortunately no; they’re Lofthouses in Upper/High Dunsforth. I have Lofthouses on another branch :)
