Just watching this programme on the tellybox and finding it rather amusing.

Friends Freddie Flintoff and Jamie Redknapp are meeting various folk who have researched people in their respective trees through DNA. Nice little snapshots of their family histories.

I found it more interesting than the one on the "other side". More humour and less faffing about :)

Probably more for the unknowledgeable , but entertaining. Did cringe a bit when he went on about the victory medal

Well we are all different, I didn't get on with it at all, in fact I spent much of the time sleeping. I think I missed the humour genes when they were given out.:D

I didn't bother, having been disappointed with other such shows, but have now recorded it on catch up and will give it a viewing.

I really enjoyed it. Those 2 bounce of each other well.

I really enjoyed it too, I even laughed out loud on a couple of occasions :D Although goodness knows where they got that narrator from :sceptical:

I laughed in a few places, but overall I didn't rate it. All credibility was lost when the 'expert' said Albert must have done something worthwhile in the war to merit receiving the Victory Medal.

    I agree about the narrator

There was far too much cackling going on for my liking - it cut across what was being said a lot of the time. :(

The Rednapp/Flintoff one wasn't bad, if a bit one-sided. Jamie Rednapp's FH was interesting, it could have been a show on its own, and he was genuinely interested. Shame there was little found, or shown, for Freddie.
I started to watch the Ant & Dec one (last series) and switched off as there was far too much tomfoolery and unwarranted side chat. I have not seen last nights yet, but thought it might be much the same - shame the idea is good, but the production is wrong, too much nonsensical chat and too little FH.

I only saw the second half. All that screeching! I'm wondering why the programme is called DNA Journey - surely most of the information that is found comes from genealogical research?

All Alan Carr does is screech. Can't stand him. Cannot see what anyone sees in him. Definitely will NOT watch

    Glad its not just me!
I took one look and thought- Amanda Holden and Alan Carr - not an appealing combination - not watching this one!
