Good evening, It's that time of year - Christmas is upon us! You'll notice that the Christmas touches have been turned on. Wishing all of you (the community/members) a very Merry Christmas! Hope it is a safe, happy and enjoyable one! P.S. One thing that came up last year I set these up was that all the forum sections expanded, and looked different to what you would normally see + increased scrolling length. I think I have managed to fix this. Regards,
Merry & Safe Christmas to you too Oman. Now we have Christmas stuff here it really does seem like Christmas time!
Thanks, Oman, it looks good. It's always lovely to see the ever welcoming home fires enhanced by the Christmas itty bits. No tree or decorations for us this year, visiting "bugs" have robbed me of the whoosh and stamina, not to mention incentive. However.... Won't stop us from having a lovely family Christmas and that's the main thing, bling or bling-less. And to start the ball rolling................ To all my friends here at Top Dog:
It really caught my eye as soon as I arrived this morning - many thanks Oman and a Very Merry Christmas to you too
No tree for us this year, excess furnishings have taken over every corner. Oh no, where do I hang the candy canes? Just started on Greeting cards, o'seas ones first, & later fingers allowing the local ones. I can love & wish love upon mine without glitter *& gloss & if it's not quite their thing, well that their own loss. to all I wish a happy & meaningful Christmas & a happy & Healthy venture into 2017.
Well! I guess if the elves at TD have put up the holiday decor, it's time for me to drag mine out and deck the halls! Good job, Oman!
Thank you Oman. Some lovely Christmas touches. Hope the little doggie isn't too hot down this way in his furry hat. A Merry Christmas to you all from one who will be dangling her toes in some lovely beachy place.
Would hate to think that any of mine relied on glitter and gloss to make things happy. I have always decorated solely for my own benefit and if it makes someone else happy on the way that's a bonus but never a first consideration.
Aww thanks Oman, looks lovely. Guess it means it's nearly here. I have been a good girl this year....honest
Merry Christmas to everyone and thanks for the cheerful reminder, Oman. Our younger daughter, put the tree up and dressed it for us (even though she no longer lives here). The colour theme this year is gold with highlights of red (the colour theme changes each year): she was especially pleased that her father remembered to ask what colours he was allowed to use to wrap the presents. He has learnt his lesson: one year he used the wrong colours and she rewrapped/overwrapped all the presents in the right coloured paper!! "I'm not OCD or anything mum, really", she says. A length of unused gold ball chain has proved great fun for our 18 month old granddaughter as I teach her the joy of wave theory along our hall. Gotta start young with teaching them physics!!
