Well, confirmation is a ceremony of commitment, so when they lock the door.......... ???? :p:D:)

Anyway, you are definitely confirmed - by all of us here on a daily basis. Unless - shock horror - you are really a figment? OH NO!! ;)

I was confirmed in the C of E (I went to high church, we had mass part in Latin and recognised the pope as a head of the church as well as the monarch), I waited until my early teens, although they did confirm as young as 8. No given name though.
I stopped attending after one particular sermon (late teens), about how some souls leave the church and nothing the priest did, would make them come back, so I thought I would try him out. He never knocked on the door once to see where I had gone:sceptical:, so I never went back;).

That's my girl. Nice to know one is appreciated & counted in the flock aside from monetary reasons. I'm sure some-one higher up knew where you were.
I carry my Church with me, without the mercenary or other wise persons chasing up on me. I believe what I believe & they can keep their programmed tenets.

When I was confirmed the Bishop asked me the name I had chosen. My reply was Theresa. So far so good but when asked why I replied "My cousin is called Theresa and I like the name" WRONG reply. I should have said Saint Theresa and told him all the wonderful things about her! The telling of I had is burnt into my brain to this day.
