My condolences to Frank and family. Pam was a wonderful person who I was introduced to via her Cornish Forefathers newsletter. She was most generous in her thoughts and prayers during the debilitating period of my late mother's illness in 2001 and ultimately her death in February 2002. R.I.P. Pam.
Oh dear, I am absolutely 'gutted' by this dreadful news about Pam. Haven't been on Top Dog for a while and now almost wish I had not popped back in! I have followed Pams adventures for many years until recently, and I had no idea she had a problem other than the usual aches and pains of ageing! I have always envied her life there, yet I always knew I would not be able to do it myself. My most sincere sympathies to Frank and all of her family and friends. Rest in peace Pam and rest assured that there are hundreds of people missing you so much right at this very moment! Jan you are to be congratulated for taking on the Parish Chest. I hope it is as successful for you as it was for Pam.
Thanks, Diana, but it is not I who took over Parish Chest - it was Jen Mortensen who bought the business from Pam and Frank a couple of years ago.
Just wish to add my condolences too I didn't know her really, but she seemed such a warm and funny person. And it was so obvious how much you all loved her.
Do you have enough room for hugs for Frank and Clare from me too Jan? I'll be thinking of all of you come 2pm. XXXX
My thoughts will be with you this afternoon, Jan. Celebrate her life and the warm and generous lady she was. I'm sure there will be one or two turkey tales in there. xx
Huge Jan, hope all goes as well as these things can. Will be thinking of you and Frank & Clare. Give her a good send off from all at TD
Living here in Cornwall, I was fortunate enough to be able to attend as well. Lovely to meet Jan again after so long. I listened carefully to the little piece Jan wrote and read out today - and I think it described Pam perfectly. And yep, the turkeys got a mention! Sadly I was unable to attend the cemetery, but glad I could make it for the service. Bye Pam - you will be missed.
I'm glad @MarkJ could also attend the funeral for Pam. I hoe the weather was nice for Pam's send off...blessings to everyone.
