    Mugsy... the check ups will ease off as time goes by. Once a year for me after 7 years now. Sure don't have the energy I had before the surgery, but maybe that's age!!! Can't say for sure. You just grin and bear it and get on with life and if you need a pity day, take it {-(^^)-}

    Exactly right.
    I've had a hysterectomy, two breast cancer ops and a (thankfully) benign neck tumour in the last five years. It takes time to get over the physical stuff but it is the anxiety that gets you-especially at check up time.

    I normally have a good heart rate and blood pressure-but when I have my regular check ups they go through the roof!

    All I can say is be kind to yourself - think how you would treat a friend in the same situation. (And chocolate helps)

    What everyone else said.....we are all here for you to lift spirits, shoulder to cry on and we all have lots of hugs that are given readily. Take time for yourself and the healing process will take care of itself. Just in case another huge {-(^^)-}on its way xx
