Hi Catriona & Bruce, good to see you both. There's a nice long playing field you offer & I'm sure you'll soon have queries/replies flowing in. Enjoy the forums & forumites.
Hello Catriona and Bruce. Welcome to the forum. Long list of names there, we will be spoilt for choice. Looking forward to your queries.
Should I have added Zammit and Baring, both of Adelaide, Wendy? My daughter-in-law tells me that Zammit (her surname) is like Smith or Brown. Maybe she doubts my tenaciousness!
From one whose life is shared with Smiths-lots- & I'm just now re-checking my Browns, Zammit caught my attention & of-course I had to look in the phone book. Two contenders! the others may have private numbers. I look forward to your showing your Dtr-in-law just what you can achieve.
Welcome to Top Dog Catriona and Bruce You'll find us a very friendly lot who love to help others with any queries they may have. So enjoy yourselves and good luck with your research.
Welcome to the best forum around for Family History research. As you are in New Zealand, a question - are you anywhere near Aukland and if so would you know of North Shore Memorial Park? Colin
If they are not I will be going out there over the New Year or just after, not too far from North Shore, let me know if I can get any information or pictures for you while I am out there. arryboy Graham
We are about an hour and a half from Auckland, Colin, and travel up there often. What do you need from the memorial park? I assume that is a cemetery?
Hi Catriona. Yes it is a cemetery and both parents are dead - one in 1990 and the other in 2008. As their children - I know of 2 - may still be alive I cannot post details, but will open a conversation with you to provide details. Is that OK? Colin
Sure thing, Colin. We are due to go up to the North Shore at the end of this month so hopefully we can go and have a look for you.
