Ok, I have a potential death for the father Johann but I cannot understand what the occupation is. I cant do it on the MAC so later I will get a snip and post it. I cannot find a marriage between that couple Johann and Karoline. Interestingly that baptism I found on Ancestry doesn't show on familysearch. As well as Henry's baptism, there is a Wilhelmina (my speling) bap 1827 and a Gottlieb Tauber bap 1829. I cannot find a Matthias anywhere around. To be quite honest the baptism images have lots and lots of writing, but I don't understand it at all. I cannot cope with the german script.
Matthias wasn’t a brother of Henry, but it’s fairly likely they were related. Thanks for all your efforts!
Aah bad describing, I meant I looked around the neighbourhood at the right sort of time for any likely Mathias in hopes of linking him to your family but couldn't. we dont even know the one I favoured was yours apart from the name Karoline.
Oh I understand you. It's just a shame that neither Henry or Elizabeth used a middle name in England, as it looks to have been a much more popular practice in Germany at that time. The only child in England they gave a middle name was my ancestor, Anne Elizabeth Miller, christened in Lincoln in 1849
Here is the snip of Johann Franz Muller's burial. I am not convinbced he is our man, but others might be able to understand a bit more. I have left the headings on so that might help a bit with deciphering the columns.
'strewth, I used to be able to read a bit of old german script but it's hopeless. There is a free website that you can use Adam, I am sending the link by PM. It details 6 sites you can try according to FamilyTreemaker magazine.
I managed to work out that the column with Krankheit says what illness he died of. The one with Hinterlassen in the heading is about family left behind and if children were adult or minors. I think it says he had a son Albrecht, age 18 and a wife whose name I cannot read. One of the columns seem to ask who declared or notified the death, for the child above it was his mother but I can't read who it says for Johann. And I haven't identified an occupation either!
Thanks for all of that! It’s sad he’s not a bricklayer but at least that option is eliminated. It’s very good of you all to help
For the box below 'hinterlassen', I agree with Albrecht, but I'm not sure what the --18 (?) means. The column heading is about whether the person left a spouse and children, and if these were minors or adult. In this case, I think the second line is Wife, 2 children (minors). In the informant box, I'm not sure what the first character/word is, but if the line above has Mother, then I'm sure this one is 'Frau' - Wife. The whole thing seems have been filled in with fairly scant regard to the column headings, though if it's not Adam's ancestor, this may be a bit academic. On the other hand, if building work had stopped for the winter (this was December), could a brickie have been filling in as a night watchman?
I tried to join a German genealogy forum but I couldn’t translate everything properly think I didn’t fill in some sections correctly.

I did investigate one prospective christening which was about 5 miles from the christening of a Matthias Müller if memory serves. Let me try and find that.
It was 13 miles on foot miles but this is what I found: Heinrich MATTHIAS Müller, christened on the 8th of August 1830, in Linn Crefeld, Rhineland, Prussia, son of Friedrich Müller and Anna Christina Macken. HEINRICH Müller, christened on the 25th of March 1831, in Angermund, Rhineland, Prussia, son of Johan Müller and Maria Schulten.
