When you search Newspapers on FMP now the text you are search on is highlighted when you go to that page. Anyone else notice this?
No, but British Newspaper Archive has the same feature, so I would assume that FMP are using BNA as their source.
I didn’t realise they didn't highlight the searched for text - I'm so used to the BNA that I never use the FMP newspapers. The BNA is actually a Findmypast Company, albeit in conjunction with the British Library.......
The newspapers are one of the reasons I subscribe to FMP as it removes the need to subscribe to BNA. This is a good development as it can be hard to locate the text one needs on some pages.
