I se Phebius (for Phoebus?) but I too would like to see more of the document. Certainly Lamplugh as a surname
yes, I noticed that just to say I agree with all of the above i.e. i can't decipher the first name either
Bit late to the party and viewing on my phone, but I see it as Philius (Lamplugh). That sounds a bit like a post-op complication though.
This will be Ann Stables, nee Lamplugh's, fathers' name, he was a deceased Farmer at the time of Ann's death in 1874. I can read all the record except the Christian Name, I think it should be William as on the marriage to Robert Stables in 1821
I think now it is Wil(l)iam - not sure if it's a truncated second 'l' or not. Compare the W with the one in Widow
I agree with you Steve - the Wi in Widow and William are the same, then comes a little ‘l’ then a normal ‘l’, then the ‘i’, then a badly formed ‘a’, then the ‘m’.
I see Ahelius Lamplugh Iannucci. Could it be Aurelius? I found lots of strange spellings of Theadosia Cocksworth in my tree. Could me w Thelius or Thebus
