Elizabeth Perry nee Collier was born c. 1843/44/45, apparently in either Northamptonshire or Oxfordshire, and married George Perry on 19th Dec 1863 in Sutton Courtenay, Berkshire. I thought I had traced her line, but going over it again after a long break I'm starting to doubt everything. Here's her marriage: Code: https://search.ancestry.co.uk/cgi-bin/sse.dll?indiv=1&dbid=9852&h=34437531&tid=78237455&pid=40384579672&usePUB=true#?_phcmd=u('https://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/?name=George_Perry&birth=1842_sutton+courtenay-berkshire-england-united+kingdom_82159&death=1928_maidenhead-berkshire-england-united+kingdom_82127&child=Arthur_Perry&child2=Emily_Perry&child3=Frederick_Perry&child4=William_Perry&child5=Henry_Perry&child6=Alice_Perry&child7=Ellen_Perry&child8=Frank_Perry&father=John_Perry&gender=m&location=3257.3250&marriage=1863_sutton+courtenay-berkshire-england-united+kingdom_82159&mother=Martha_Giles&sibling=Edgar_Perry&sibling2=Albert_Perry&sibling3=James+Henry_Perry&sibling4=Joseph_Perry&sibling5=John_Perry+II&sibling6=Charles_Perry&sibling7=William_Perry&sibling8=Rachel_Perry&spouse=Elizabeth_Collier&treePerson=78237455_40384579672&successSource=Search&queryId=oKVxp6jG4T4Sv0AaKimVug==','successSource') I'm wondering if anyone can have a gander at the record, since Ancestry has always locked it from me. I know the censuses can vary, but this search led me to many different places, so I can't pin her down. I've finally been able to locate her death in 1931 - an old tree from a cousin had it down as 1887 - and I have what may be her birth certificate in front of me as I type this, but can someone assist in trying to calm the decade-long beast that is Elizabeth? I suppose it's a common genealogists' trick to resort to humour in these situations.

I have removed the live link to Ancestry in post 1 as it is in breach of rule 6 (can be found here) about linking to commercial sites. Also, when I did click on it it kept taking me to an Ancestry sign in page.
Given that Thomas COLLIER of Mursley married Mary CRANE of Newton Longville on 17 November 1839 at Newton Longville, there is a baptism at Newton Longville on 3 February 1847 for an Elizabeth daughter of Thomas & Mary COLLYER. Previous baptism at Newton Longville on 30 May 1841 for an Ann Elizabeth daughter of Thomas & Mary COLLIER, her birth being registered at Newport Pagnell reg district in the June qtr 1841, mother's maiden name CRANE. However, so far I am having little success finding Thomas & Mary COLLIER in the 1841 census record and no luck finding a death/burial record for Thomas either! There are 3 possible baptismal records for a Thomas COLLIER at Mursley: 12 May 1816 son of Matthew & Elizabeth COLLIER, Labourer 7 November 1819 son of Thomas & Elizabeth COLLIER, Labourer 10 November 1822 son of Thomas & Elizabeth COLLIER, Labourer No burial record at Mursley between 1819 & 1822 for a Thomas COLLIER that I can find, so were there 2 Thomas COLLIERs married to an Elizabeth?? According to FMP Bucks Marriage transcriptions, there are two marriages at Mursley for Thomas COLLIER to an Elizabeth in the relevant timescale, so you may have to do a bit more digging. Do you have the marriage certificate for Thomas COLLIER & Mary CRANE? If not, you may have to purchase it to obtain enough information to enable you to go further back with any certainty. Daughter Ann (Elizabeth) COLLIER is living with her grandparents Joseph & Ann CRANE in the 1851 census of Newton Longville. Janet
