Thank you all for the wishes for my 75th birthday. Never in my wildest dreams did I think i"d get this far, but now I'm enjoying? the old age of youth. I have my Rollator , Dialysis Machine and other accessories that keep me relatively comfortable. Saturday was absolutely beautiful [weather wise] so after watching India beat Afghanistan by 11 runs [cricket world cup], I had a lunch of my favourite tipple with a sandwich outside and later my wife and daughter took me out to dinner and that was most enjoyable. Got back home just in time to get ready for my Dialysis connection and then settled into bed to watch West Indies [repeat] of their innings against New Zealand - a real cliff-hanger as the Windies came up 5 runs short. Today I watched Pakistan vs South Africa [started 5.30am & finished about 1.00pm]. Checked the Internet to see that England beat Cameroon in the round of 16 [Women's FIFA World Cup] and then the finish of the game between France and Brazil. Was outside when this game was being played as it was so nice weather wise. I am guardedly optimistic that my 75th year will be better than my 73rd and 74th and that that i get the green light for my kidney transplant. I had the last [I hope] test to complete the prerequisite for Surgery on June 13 and meet with the Cardiologist on July 3 for the results. Will just have to wait and see. to all and please join me in keeping eyes, fingers and other body parts crossed in the hope that by my 76th I'll either have had or be waiting on a transplant.
I will join in with the hoping and praying for you, and will keep everything crossed as well. Glad you had a lovely birthday.
