His death registration in the December qtr 1969 at Nottingham reg district shows that his date of birth was 4 February 1895. 1901 census of Calverton, Nottinghamshire (RG13/3159, folio 43, page 12) shows him living at Main Street with parents Henry & Kate plus sisters Agnes A & Frances A. Possible marriage for him in the March qtr 1920 at Nottingham reg district, W H A MURDEN & Gertrude M COX. 1939 Register of Nottingham shows William H A MURDEN, dob 4 February 1895, married, Postman, living with parents Joseph H & Kate MURDEN, at 10 Sneinton Hollows. Wife Gertrude M MURDEN is living at 55 Leslie Road, she being shown as a married Lace Curtain Mender, born 19 November 1896, together with a daughter, who may still be alive so won't give you details, but you can access the 1939 Register via Ancestry or FindmyPast.
