Does everything from the web version get duplicated there?

So this site is subordinate to a tweet?

Sorry, but just cannot see the point of Tweets that are apparently not worth putting on the site

I tweet links to existing posts so as to extend the possibility of reaching more people. That way, a query might be seen by someone who would not otherwise find the forum. :)

Sorry, I seem to have misunderstood. (I admit I am not a user of Twitter). I thought from your earlier reply that information that was given on Twitter was not given on the site. I apologise for my misunderstanding

I have a Twitter account but I'm finding that I don't use the site much these days - there are more and more nasty and stupid people on there. A few minutes' reading could send my blood pressure sky-high! I agree Tweeting could be a way for more people to find this forum, but I think I'll keep coming straight here ;)

At one time I was considering a Twitter account but having seen some of the nasty Twitters by moronic twits I decided to give it a miss, I don't think I need it anyway, Facebook seems to give me all I need and more.

I can't keep up with all the genealogy sites I belong to, so I sure don't have time to tweet. I really am waiting for tweet tweets from Spring birds, though!!

Like Facebook, I’ve never given either a passing thought. Well, I did, fleetingly with Facebook but now, nuh.

I only do Facebook to keep up with family overseas. They are useless at keeping in touch in other ways.:D

Facebook has also enabled me to get birth, marriage and death dates of cousins children. I know the years they are born but not the date. Easy to find date when you visit their page, just look for all the happy birthdays :)
