Lovely to have contact with a 4x cousin Paul. I have Benjamin George and Mary Ann Wright as children of Thomas b 1818 and Rachel b1824, is that not correct?
i have benjamin and mary no dates for them ,with father benjamin and susan.and for thomas and rachel benjamin 1855 58 /maryann 1848 /and a maryann 1843/one did as a kid
have been looking at parish records for Wright family at Ambrosden, Oxfordshire. Benjamin George Wright bap 7th Sept 1851 s/o Thomas and Rachel Benjamin George Wright buried 3rd March 1853, Arncot, infant Benjamin Thomas Wright bap 28th may 1854 s/o Thomas and Rachel. No baptism for Mary Ann, however she does appear on the 1851 census with Thomas and Rachel and also Isabella b 1846/7 (she was baptised at Ambrosden 6th Sept 1846 - d/o Thomas and Rachel)

The Francis WRIGHT who died in 1729 at Islip left an Oxfordshire Will which is available to view on FindmyPast but I cannot give you full details because of their terms & conditions but it does mention his grandchildren as his legatees and the fact that he was a Cordwinder. Janet

No sorry Paul I don't. I did have a quick look to see if I could find anything but wasn't successful. However having said that, the Ancestry transcriptions for a some of the Oxfordshire parishes are not very good, although to be fair some of the writing in the early parish records is pretty dire, and I have found that the best way to find anyone is to trawl through the actual parish register images which is okay if you know where to look in the first place!!
