Thanks to you all for your kind wishes. Well, I did have a great day, my extended family from Sydney turned up which was a really wonderful surprise, the extended, nieces came with my friends, They are Charleen and Jacyleen, along with Charleen's daughter 3 year old Hope who gave me two nice cuddles and 2 kisses, really made my day. We went to one of the local Thai restaurants, Pai Tong, which claims to serve authentic Thai cuisine, had a great meal and several glasses of wine, I wasn't driving btw. Not sure if it was an unspoken message but I was given 5 bottles of wine.
One thing really took me by surprise was that Hope instigated the cuddles, not me, surprised because this was only the third time I have met Hope due to Covid, kids can spring surprises that's for sure. After we got home after the meal I went across the road to my daughter's place to see the pups, they are nearly two weeks old, 8 Aussie Shepherds, all boys, some with tails some without.
