but will still be visiting and occasionally sticking my oar in from time to time. Have just cancelled my subscription to Ancestry as my domestic situation makes it almost impossible for me to set down to do any serious research. Add to that the cost of the Ancestry annual subscription is now eye watering. I finally decided to cancel when my computer turned its toes up this morning. Have an iPad so can still pop in and have a gawp and hopefully be of some help.
I don't get time to do much research now, but still really enjoy the Forum. Hope you get as much pleasure out of your visits.
Keep in touch and remember - we can always help with those research questions that suddenly bug you when you least expect it.
We'll miss you, David, and hope the break is only a short one. Do remember to pop in every now and again to say hello.
You will be missed, Dave. I hope you pop by regularly even if only for a quick fix. Give us a nod, a wink and a wave so we know all's well.
Can quite understand, but you'll be missed. Just as long as you let us know that you are OK - we're all here if and when you want us Ann
Sometimes the family history has to sit on the back burner for a while, as other things become more important. I always enjoy your posts, David - you always bring a smile to my face, even though we know life has become tough for you of late. Don't be a stranger. to you and the missus.
Do keep in touch - we will miss your input. Do take care - sending you and your wife a big. We will be here ready to help when the 'bug' bites again.
We all understand where you are coming from and also about that sub. I almost didn't renew mine, but then I figured what the hey! No I must use it to get my money's worth. Take care.
David we all understand but as everyone says don't be a stranger and pop by occasionally. Like you I don't get much time for research but still pop in to catch up on gossip, so we want your gossip as often as you can make it. In the meantime huge To you and your wife. Catch ya soon
Same here. Sorry that you won't be around so much David, but can only agree with what's been said before; you'll be missed, so please keep in touch occasionally. Very best wishes to you, and to your wife
Circumstances can be difficult at times. I can relate to your pc curling up its toes. I had the same problem a couple of months ago. You are right about subscriptions - genealogy now seems to be a big business and we often end up forking out a lot of money on it. Pop in when you can.
The way I'm now not noticing the time fly by, I probably won't realise you've been away more that a day or two Dave, See you then.
Very sorry to hear of your predicament David, you certainly will be missed but it will not be so bad (for us) as long as you do pop in from time to time. All the best.
Thank you all so very much for your wonderful comments, it really helps knowing I am among such a lovely group of people. I will most certainly be popping my head round the door every morning, it's my essential therapy to get me up and running for the rest of the day. My little Sassie likes the setup where I now sit in a chair as she can snuggle round my neck and act as proof reader. Any mistakes are down to her.
