Any ideas as to the occupation for Walter Miles please. Ancestry have the family transcribed as Milla. I can't find him in any other census. Piece 698, Book 10, Folio 10, Page 12.

It differs in age from the GRO.
There is a tree on Anc:rolleyes: who attributes this to Walter Miles who marries Henrietta Kent in Blandford Dorset in 1804.

I have looked at Exmouth Place in 1851 - no sign of Walter or any other Miles

Thanks very much MM. I saw the tree, not sure how they reckon on the marriage in Dorset. Will have to sleep on this one.
