Address on 3 Jul 1901 is 1 Belton Street, Willesden -- this is son John Albert's baptism, Frederick is still a cellarman

Well I cannot find them on the transcriptions, but by using the address (it is 1 Belton Road - not Street) I can find them.
    RG13/1226/43/12
    Helen is enumerated as Ellen

Can anyone find Frederick in the 1891 census. He is not with his parents

There is a Frederick Price c1873 in the Philanthropic Society Farm School at Reigate, but it says born Kilburn. As I understand it this was a home for homeless and criminal boys, many of whom made new lives in Australia and Canada

    ref RG12: 580: 156: 9

Hmmm, Kilburn and Paddington aren't Putney though ... :(
Though he does have links to Paddington ...

There is a 19 year old Frederick C Price, Lodger at RG12/620/60/28 - 17 Michel's Row, Kew Road, Richmond, Surrey.

Born 1872 in Putney, Surrey. He is an Uphosterer though - a bit different from a Barman or Cellarman.

Why couldn't I find that one. Maybe he was a rubbish upholsterer? I think I will go with that one :)

    blast

Well wouldn't you know it that page is missing, I've just trawled through that census and no 12-16 Michel's Row, followed by 20-24, no 17-19

If you found nos. 12 to 16, 17 to 19 are on the next page.

    I was using FMP.

The page appears to be missing on Ancestry - unless it is out of order, but doing a search for various people from the correct page came up blank, so expect it is not there.
