The birth of Winifred Maud Hoare was registered in St Germans, Cornwall, in June quarter 1909. Her marriage to Henry Charles Metters was registered in Tavistock, June 1931. Their (only?) child was born in Okehampton area in 1932. (An on-line article dated 2009 refers to him as "the late"). Winifred Metters died at her son's home in Devon in 1990. In 1939 Henry is recorded as living in the household of George L Lachlam in Okehampton. I cannot find Winifred. Any ideas?
She is immediately underneath Henry's name on the original but the transcription is totally up the creek. You need to look at the original page to see what's what as they are not in the home of George Lachlan but next door.
