An Arabic question

I hope this is OK to ask here, it's not strictly genealogical.

Clearing out my mum's things I found a table I always admired that belonged to my grandparents. Google says it's a late 19th small octagonal table from Liberty. It has what I assume is Arabic on the top, but it is damaged and a bit is missing. I would like to get it repaired but I'm not sure of the word, I can't find another with that word on it.

Is there anyone who can decipher it, or can suggest a way? I presume it's the right way up

Good find, @Chimp. I've occasionally seen this kind of thing on antiques programmes, and I've a feeling they were sometimes described as Persian rather than Arabic. (The Persian alphabet is basically Arabic but with a few differences.)

I can't help with deciphering it, unfortunately, but this might give a few extra search options.
