Another illegible bit of writing

After my last posting entitled Labourer or Landowner,I've now received a marriage cert from 30 May 1881 for the parents of Michael Redmond, who married in 1917 and whose father ,you decided was a Tradesman.
I now need your opinion of which church the marriage took place in and does the occupation of Michael Redmond state "Gatehouse" as I know on the birth of his son Michael in 1884 he was shown as a "Gatehouse man"

Erm, I can't even work out the name of the County ... unless it's Dublin with a strange D; is the abode Sion Hill?

First thoughts on the name of the church was St Alvinia

Pretty sure the groom's occupation is Gardener

The abode is indeed Sion Hill and the county is Dublin.

of course I thought Alvinia when I read the Church name at the top of the cert. the name at the bottom or your image looks completely different -- rather like Airview --- could it be Andrew?

Well, I have gone through all the Catholic Churches (which include chapels as far as I can make out) listed for Dublin on thecatholicdirectory.com, but can see nothing that resembles the place.

Just wondering if the name is written in Irish Gaelic.....

Edited to add: There is a St Andrew's and, if part of the writing has not replicated, as shown in other words, then that might be the place.

Like Mugswortismy cat, Gardener is the closest I can get to the occupation, the letter following the G appears to be an upper case A which had me puzzled, more why than what.
