No, it’s not just yours.
Best wishes to you both - for Lawrie's improvement to continue and for you to enjoy some "ME TIME" - you both deserve it and them .
Sounds just like a kid. Good as gold when away from Mom
Good news Wendy, hugs to you and hubby too
That's the worrying part.
Apparently he’s the star patient in icu and he’s only there because there are no beds in the surgical ward. The drain comes out today as well as the epidural
And home in 2 or 3 days. Not bad eh! Liver surgery is no walk in the park. He’s a tough old coot.
Major liver surgery, being discharged tomorrow providing he gets lessons in injecting his belly with blood thinner. How good is that?
Glad to hear it's all going well - long may it continue.
It's very easy to do.... I had to do it after my cancer surgery. Hubby offered to do it, but I did not trust him.
I was told so long as it was a squidgy bit it was fine to inject a thigh instead for a month. Amazing how quickly you can master it when it's all that stopping you from going home.
Mike won't let me do his insulin for the same reason lol.
Been there, done that......it got to be like second nature to Bob, but he wasn't too keen on anyone else doing it for him.
I second that, ladies......I had to do it for 10 days after my surgery and let my daughter do it once.....(ouch).....did it myself after but will admit to a moment or two of apprehension just before putting the needle in my tummy, lol. She probably hit a nerve....just her luck.
PS....what is a "squidgy"??
soft, spongy, and moist.
"a squidgy cream cake"
Perhaps I should have said 'flabby'. It translates better.
Too many desserts
Change of plan. The epidural came out and panadol is just not doing it. So Endone here we come. Another night to be on the safe side.
Didn’t someone of note call someone ‘Squidgy’ in a recorded phone call.....or something. She is now no longer with us.
Separate names with a comma.
