Well, quite a few of them actually Frederic[k] Wood married Matilda Mitchell on 12/4/1830 at St Anne, Limehouse The witnesses were William Mitchell and Louisa Mitchell I have nothing on theses 2 prior to their marriage 1841 HO107 p701 bk2 f21 p37 in Eastfield Street sees Frederic age 40 labourer, Matilda 35, Louisa 10, Mary 8, Frederic 6, Matilda 3, Ann 1 month Louisa is 'mine' and I have her through to her death - she married Samuel Slatter on 21/1/1851 at All Saints Poplar she gives her father's occ as lighterman - it is the rest of her siblings I am stuck on I have found baptisms for Mary Ann Amelia 28/5/1834 (born 29/1/1834) Frederic William 1/1/1837 (born 13/36/1837) Matilda 1/7/1838 (born20/5/1838) All at St Anne Limehouse - father's occ waterman. 1851 HO107/1554/92/51 Eastfied Street, Limehouse Frederic b1807 Limehouse labourer, Matilda b1811 Limehouse, Frederic b1836, Matilda b1838, Elizabeth (birth reg as Elizabeth Ann)1841, Joseph b1843, George b1846, Eliza b1849 all born Limehouse - I can see birth reg's (Stepney) for Elizabeth, Joseph, George, Eliza - all the year as stated on census. There is a death of Frederick Wood 1854 Stepney Dec qtr 1c 471 -the GRO gives an age of 54 so fits 1861 RG09/286/162/22 - John Street, Limehouse - Surname enumerated as Ward Matilda b1810 widow, Matilda b1839, Joseph b1844, George b1847, Eliza b1850, John b1852 (birth reg 1852) There is a death of Matilda Wood Dec qtr 1862 Shoreditch 1c 137 GRO age 56 - so a possible for Matilda the widow There is a death of Matilda Wood March qtr1863 Stepney (which includes Limehouse) 1c 400 age 23 - so likely to be Matilda the daughter. I do not seem to be able to find any of the children after 1861. I think I found Mary in 1851 working as servant, in Limehouse (RG09/1554/234/34) but then nothing. Any help gratefully received.
