Confirming an address

I wasn't sure where to post this query. I think I have correctly interpreted this address as Birkbeck Road.

This was the address of a couple who married in Holy Trinity, Tulse Hill in the Parish of Lambeth in 1872. I cannot find this road in 1871 in Lambeth to confirm who was living there. It exists in 1881 in Streatham.

 

You may have it there, I pondered Birkbook, Birkbeek moved on before I considered 'beck' which sounds more correct. looks better when larger.

I have been beaten to the punch again but note that the registration district is Wandsworth, not Lambeth.

If you're looking on a current map, it seems Birkbeck Road became Birkbeck Hill.

 

Many thanks, Peter and Huncamunca. Whilst I didn't find the expected couple I may have found a clue to help solve the puzzle. An uncle was living in Birkbeck Road and may have brought up his sister's child. I now have to work out whether Mary Ann Stotter was really Mary Ann Webb.
