    digitalpanopticon.org

"The Digital Panopticon website allows you to search millions of records from around fifty datasets, relating to the lives of 90,000 convicts from the Old Bailey, to search individual convict life archives, explore and visualise data, and to learn more about crime and criminal justice in the past."

A useful site, and not just for London ancestors - the records of two of mine are there from Cheshire and Yorkshire.

Lots of interesting stuff! Wish some of the links weren't to FMP as my sub has expired! Will look closer one night this week.

Not Just Robert Tullett snr but the son Robert who I have virtually nothing on - and no wonder, he used the alias John Jones and all combinations of the 4 names, plus he spent an awful lot of time 'at his majesty's pleasure':nailbiting:

One extra little snippet John snr had a hairy chest:D

This site was mentioned not so long ago, I forget by whom. I found it very interesting but also a bit peeved that FMP has their fingers in some portions of the pie. I found my Mary Ann Alice Seago [(Porcus), she's mine only because she murdered a family member] and was hoping to find out a bit more but FMP have that bit.
    Some wonderful information on there.

I didn't get into this earlier I was so taken in by the tracing of convicts to Australia for the above Lass & finding which year who did what & where. Having recently seen an Old Bailey report on some-one charged with endeavouring to bring about an illegal abortion on a female & found not guilty, my curiosity sent me looking. Am none the wiser. Unsure if he is one of my line or not. Not fussed about finding proof now either. :(
