Isaac DETSON (DOTSON/DODSON etc ) wed Elizabeth SEAMER on 31st December 1765 in Warehorne, Kent.

Their children, as I have uncovered thus far, are:

Ann & Mary (twins) b 1766 in Warehorne (Mary died soon afterwards)
    Mary b 1767 in Warehorne
    Elizabeth b 1769 in Warehorne

Sarah b 1777 in Kenardington (Note: Kenardington and Warehorne are only a mile apart)

Both Isaac and Elizabeth are buried in Kenardington, Isaac in 1793 and Elizabeth in 1802.

    However....

In between Elizabeth (1769) and Sarah (1777) I have found the burial of Isaac, infant son of Isaac and Elizabeth in Kenardington in 1775. But, I can find no record of his birth/baptism. This could be in either Warehorne or Kenardington.

If anyone finds any more children to the couple or infant Isaac’s baptism, I would be grateful.

    Thank you. :)

:( - no luck here either. The only Isaac Dotson I could find in a newspaper was in a Sheffield paper in 1876, and he had found a stray dog...... No Isaac Detsons and some Isaac Dodsons, but not in Kent.

Is it possible that baby Isaac died soon after birth-before even a Baptism/reg'n had taken place & buried immediately?

FreeReg have a baptism of an Isaac DOTSON on 26 July 1772 at St. Matthew Church, Warehorne. Parents Isaac and Elizabeth.

(They have the burial transcribed as DOBSON  )

The terminology toddler probably wasn't around back then, so as he was less than 3 years old, could possibly be referred to as an infant?
