I had just read of a child, being being Baptised in 1826 who was said to have been Baptised by a dissenter in London in 1823 but not registered. Well of course I went looking for dissenters. What a wealth of info Google brings up.
This one stood out & appears a very well documented & presented website.
I found it via the author Mark on Rootsweb.

    http://www.wbcollyer.org/

I didn't find the person I looked for tho' & had to drag myself away & back to my allotted project.

First tho' I stopped here for a look:
    www.
    bmdregisters.co.uk/

Now I really must get back to what I was doing,.. ah! lunch time, where did that last hour go?

This is the definitive site for pre 1837-ish nonconformist registers.

    Look there for:

    • non-conformist and other non-parochial births and baptisms, deaths and burials, and some marriages for the 17th-19th centuries
    • clandestine (irregular) marriages up to 1754
    • Quaker births, marriages and deaths up to 1837 (RG 4-RG 8)
