    Here you will find interesting maps showing how Ontario developed over the years showing how the populated areas changed and grew. If you are looking for someone who arrived in the early 1800's this shows where they likely would be found, compared to those who arrived later that century. Also will help when trying to find locations from census information. Mods.. I hope it is okay like this as it is a government website.

    Thanks, Sue. Wish it had more town names. Now I need to check my notes to compare what I've got. It's been a very long time since I did research in Ontario. :reading:
