I thought that I had all of her information until I realised that she wasn't with her mother in the 1901 census.
Other censuses including 1891 she is with her mother at Blowing House,Redruth.
1891 named Elizabeth.Tin mine surface labourer.
I have looked at marriages and none of them are her.
Her son William John Osborne died in 1894 age 11. She took his father James Hill to court and was awarded 1s.6d a week.

I saw and discounted that burial because that would have made her birth 1834.
Will probably have to give up looking for the missing Osborne's.

    Unfortunately not her.
She was with her mother at Blowing House in 1891.
Maybe she married or emigrated. I looked at marriages and as far as I can see none fit.
She along with her brother and an uncle will be forever a mystery.

I have tried all ways to find her. Looked at the census in 1901 and checked where they were born. Wondered if they went upcountry or abroad but no luck.
    Checked for marriages.

No idea where Elizabeth Jane disappeared to after the 1900 obit of her aunt.
I have shortened her name and used all spellings of her surname.
Looked at marriages and compared them to 1901 and 1911 censuses and nothing. She has disappeared .
I have looked at FMP and familysearch but no help there.
Hoping for obits of other family members that she could have been mentioned but none of those either.
I have tried emigration but not much use on FMP as they just show the census and that is just England.

There is this possibility (fingers crossed).

On the same page on FreeBMD marriages is:-
    Elizabeth Jane OSBORNE
    James SMITHERAM

    March quarter 1901, Helston.

It is def them that married as I found the other two people (Thomas Nicholas F Richards and Joanna Ellen Pascoe) going off to America in 1909.

There is a death reg at Helston of a James SMITHERAM aged 76 in 1909.

On the 1911 census at Chilli Road, Illogan Highway, Illogan is an Elizabeth Jane SMITHERHAM aged 59 (born 1852), a Widow born Illogan. She states she has had one child and that one child has died.

If this is your Elizabeth Jane, then she was buried on 11 July 1917 at Illogan. Aged 64, her abode is given as Chili Road, Highway, Illogan.

    What do you/others think?
