    Battersby, Emily Aldred
25 Apr 1839 - Red Street, St Mary, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England 21 Sep 1896 - 8 Bath Street, Leicester, Leicestershire, England

This is a lady that i have been trying to find for some time, her father was Samuel Battersby and her mother was Mary Aldred hence the middle name....
So far i have never made any Battersby connections through Ancestry or other sites and it is about time that i did! If you have any connection with Emily or her family please get in touch. If i can help you with anything in the Leicestershire area i will!
    Iain..

Sorry I can't find anything on this woman. Does she exist? or is she just an elusive person who is obviously hiding and doesn't want to be found? Did she marry? :)

Several people have her in trees-would be worth a trip to the Library to mke contact.
Also 'Genes Reunited' has 4 people listing her on their trees.

p.s. if you don't have 'Genes Reunited' sub-not v.expensive by the way- perhaps I could contact one or two for you & have them contact you?
