Love it or hate it I have set up pages for individual parishes from my Facebook page-for Cornwall- which are very useful to post links, photo's,family queries etc etc.
I have them for Newlyn,Paul,Mousehole,Zennor-all West Penwith and St Keverne with more to set up.
Just an idea if you are subscribed and want to do something similar with a family history theme.

I'm a member of so many local history and genealogy Facebook pages now that my newsfeed is clogged with updates from them. They are very popular.

I have 'met' some really useful contacts over the past year, including a chap whose uncle used to live in the same place as my g-grandmother, now long demolished, and he was able to describe the property inside. A real insight into how she lived at that time.
