To be honest, I had completely forgotten all about them.
I've added insult to injury by ordering another on 15th September. It says estimated date of delivery 30th September.....I still have the 4 outstanding that were due on 26th August.
Perhaps that’s what they’re banking on
No not a reply of any sort! mind you they do inform you any you have received are now due to be removed! got all excited when the email came but not a will and they don't update either
I have emailed the editor of a well known family history magazine to see if s/he can arrange an interview with the top brass at gov.uk (Wills) and get some information. They seem quite keen to email and say when our access to Wills is about to expire, although I guess that is automatic.
I wonder, is this the same gov department that deals with probate? I know that my friend has had a lot of trouble sorting his late mother's affairs over the last few months, something to do with teething problems over a new computer system.
Just received the will i ordered on 15th September, my great grandmother's. Still waiting for the ones I ordered on 11th August.
That's just favouritism, Chimp.
Right, i’ve added my six orders to the pile. Look forward to seeing them
OK - what did you do......I hope no bribery was involved
There was something on Radio 4 today (You and Yours I think) about delays in granting Probate.
My Wills are gradually coming through now!
Seems to be a bit random then! Where's the chronological organisation? Silly me....it's a Government Office.
well the one from 23rd July arrived today so only 7th Aug to go now
Just thought I'd pop in to say that the last of the three wills I ordered on 26th July was delivered today. It's interesting!
Green with envy
You and me both
Finally mine have arrived, bar 2.
