Hi fellow sleuths, I have this person who has a baptism record without parents:
    Anne Pickering.
BIRTH 1799 • Henllan, Denbighshire, Wales
    DEATH 8 DEC 1869 • St Asaph, Denbighshire, Wales;

I found a suitable Baptism on FamilySearch but it does not name her parent/s:
    Anne Pickering
    Baptism 25 Nov 1799
    Place Llanferras, Denbighshire, Wales
    Parish register p14
    Affil Publn No. 189
    Digi Folder 4631235
    Img 15

The accompanying citation mentions FMP. I wonder if their image shows parents?
She married John Vaughan and at the 1851 Census with him there is also a Mary Jeffries (Visitor) aged 59 years who could be a feasible mother. Census 1851 Wales,
    Piece/Folio: 2507 / 259; Page Number: 12; Registration Number: HO107

    Any clues please?

Whether or not this is the father Samuel, I don't know for certain but there is also a baptism of a Samuel PICKERING at Llanferres that took place on 23rd May 1763 to parents Charles and Anne. The age could fit...

Have not found a marriage, though....

The age in the original looks to me more like 69 than 59, but it still seems a tad too young to have been Anne's mother.

I wonder if she was a widowed sister of either of them - or could have just been a friend or cousin...

By the way, Llanferres to Henllan is about 15 miles. :)

Hooray! Another generation back! More possibilities for descendants in the present day.
