'Ere we go again ... getting tied up in knots.

This is what I THINK is from the baptism record of my Gt Gt Aunt's daughter, May/Mary JORDAN. Am I correct in thinking that the entry on the right means that she married in 1950? (Seems a bit late - she was born 1907).

Oh Poo - I can't reduce it to the line I want. It's the seventh from the bottom (the second entry that begins "7" - meaning 7 Nov). Not having much luck with technology today ...

    I read it as
Marriage contract with PatricK(? not sure) J Cosgrave of Ballina on 10 April 1950 Testes (being Estate) to Thomas Cosgrave and Eliz. Flannery. Hope it helps... on second look think it means she died on 10 April but not sure

    My Latin is rubbish.

Matrimonium contraxit cum = Marriage contract with... die = day?...10 April 1950...testes = witnesses?...Thomas Cosgrave and Eliz Flannery... Arghh!

Between you I think you've more or less got it:
"She married Patrick J Cosgrave at Ballina on 10 April 1950. Witnesses Thomas Cosgrave and Elizabeth Flannery. Priest P Conor Maloney"
