Just to report, I've found an absolute belter this morning - a photo of one of the family serving as a nurse in Tobruk, 1942. On Remembrance Day, too.

Several years ago I found newspaper reports about my gg grandfathers brother George who disappeared from his home in 1883 and was never found. The newspapers were full of speculation about his fate.
I had another look on FMP yesterday to see if any more relevant material had been added.
Bingo! There were reports from 18 years earlier about a feud with a local who killed George's cat with a spade and also started a fight over turf being moved. Both incidents ended up as court cases.

Anyone else getting Miss Marple vibes?
