Hi guys,

Following on from my last post does anyone read French.

I have managed to get hold of the French death cert that I asked advice on :) but guess what.

Yep if anyone guessed he's got it but cant read it your right .

I know that she travels to France from time to time, so was wondering if this was something that @Blackmogs could help with?

Normally I'd be happy to take a look, but there's a lot going on here at the moment so I can't really say whether or when I'd be able to manage it.

Here you go:

The 23rd May 2012 at 8 o’clock, died in his home at Lanouée (Morbihan), Chantepie, David John WHITBREAD born in Hounslow (England) the 30th October 1947, retired driving instructor, son of Henry Vaughan WHITBREAD and of Edith Rose HACKETT, deceased, spouse of Edwina Patricia COPE.

Completed the 23rd May 2012 at 1400 hours and 26 minutes on the declaration of Henri DESNE, 65 years, paramedic, who lives at 2 Place St Nicholas, JOSSELIN (Morbihan), who has read and been invited to sign the declaration with us Andre MARIVAIN, deputy state registrar.

Morbihan is a French département. :)

I hope this helps - I had visions of ornate handwriting to plough through! :D If I have anything wrong, I am sure that someone else will be able to provide a better translation. :)

Oh piddle (ha! that one got past the swearing gubbins) Ive only just picked this up. Beaten to the punch. All looking tres bien to moi
