    Oof. Sounds nasty.

    The ligaments have gone in my knee (I had to be rescued from a supermarket car park a few weeks back). I am now wearing horse bandages ('vetwrap') which I raided from my stable first aid box - I can recommend these for support (eBay), as they seem bigger and comfier than the stretchy support bandages for humans.
