Gideon was born, according to the 1841 census, about 1786, in Wiltshire
He married Mary Vezey in 1812 at St Swithin, Walcot Somerset
They had 10 children, the first one in Rode, Somerset in 1816, the rest in Bradford on Avon
According to Pigots of 1842 he was a wheelwright of Trowbridge Road
He died 15th July 1842 in Bradford on Avon.

A website called freshford.com has a page of Frickers and a family tree. Half way down the page it mentions Gideon as a "relative" of Henry Fricker born 1812 (who has Rode next to his name, I don't know if he was born there or died there)

I can't find Gideon's birth, his parents, or how he fits in to this family. Can anyone help me find a clue?

No luck with his birth, but a copy of his probate (to wife Mary) is on Anc.
You need to go to the 'Wiltshire Wills and Probate' set to find it.

I've just found a Gideon on Freereg being baptised in 1783 at St Lawrence, Rode to Samuel and Elizabeth. It's the first Gideon I've found

However, a Samuel got married to Elizabeth Sanders in 1773, and was baptised to Gideon and Martha in 1766, making him 13

    Something not right

Gideon and Martha married in 1737 so it is quite possible that Samuel was older at the time of his baptism.

Samuel was buried at Road 17 Dec 1826 age 84, which would make his birth Abt 1742

Where did you find this please? I can't find it

There was also a death for a Samuel in Rode aged 95 in 1839 which would make him born 1744

The marriage was in the Bradford on Avon PRs at Ancestry. A surprising number of Frickers there!
