My wife and I have just returned from Melbourne for our grandson's FIRST birthday - what a change from last year when he was only a few weeks old. Looking forward to our next visit when he'll probably be 'running around'.

Hi David. I am introducing myself to you because of an old letter I read that you had written to the Te Reo publication. It was regarding research you were doing on a woman named Meri Wehikore. I am embarking on some research of my own centred around this woman. I have done very little, it is an interest I am only just beginning to pursue so, rather than inventing the wheel, I am hoping to scrounge research that others have already done! I am a direct descendent of Meri's so I am really enjoying the fascinating journey!
Hope you get this. I have actually tried emailing you in the past but think maybe it was an old address.
regards

Rachael

I have just joined after reading the Parish Chest newsletter. I've been a member of the British Genealogy forum for many years and have found it very helpful. I'm looking forward to visiting this forum on a daily basis where I'm sure I'll learn a lot and hopefully will be able to help.

David
Parish Chest has something to answer for then because I am another one who read about Top Dog in their newsletter. The power of the on-line word...
