Here is the full image from 1832
If this is your Edward then his parents Banns and Marriage images are also available.
can see now just how addictive all this is , the more you learn the more you want , i always thought that Hamer was not such a common name how wrong was i theres flippin loads of them..
Not sure now will have to study this as some of the dates and ages seem to be out , i knew that i should have bought a notebook with more pages in it ..ha ha..
There also seems to be a Thomas Hamer born 1824 St Harmon
That Thomas was born 1826 and was the son of Henry and Lavinia.
Hi Chimp what are the images , cheers.
Before we get onto the images.....
I have found this family in clun district on the 1841 census
Address: Whitcott Keysett (just outside Clun)
HO107, Piece 919, Book 5, Folio 9, Page 17
Edward Hamer 30 b.1811 Agriculturer Labourer
Margaret Hamer 35 b.1806
Edward Hamer 9 b.1832
John Hamer 7 b.1834
William Hamer 5 b.1836
David Hamer 10 months b.1840
None of them were born in county.
As you can see the wife was Margaret not Margery.
I can't find them on other censuses.
I have sent the images to your email.
Thank you , i have heard of "Whitcott" but dont think these Hamers are mine , there seems to have been a few Hamers around the Clun area some are still there at Bicton but again i dont think they are directly mine . thanks again ..
Hi again i have now found this place it wpuld be CWM NANT YSTABL , it is near Bwlch y Sarnau which itself is located just north of Abbtcwmhir.
Today i visited the St Harmon Church were my Great Great Grandfather Edward Hamer was Baptized back in 1832 , quite a few "Hamers" in the Churchyard unsure if they are family or not.
Hi again sorry to be a bother but on the Banns it says that Margery os from this parish , would you be able to tell which parish it is , many thanks..
Can you refresh my memory please, my quote was from 9 months ago, I've blinked several times since then
Sorry my fault for being a bit vague , this is the pic that you sent me.
