The above named was my great uncle and was killed 23 March 1961. According to the Death Cert issued by the State of Montana, he was driving his automobile and went into the St. Regis River from U.S. Highway 10 1 mile East of Haugan, Mineral, Montana. The primary cause of death was Drowning and other injuries included a Crushed Chest. His death cert. was attested to by W.J. Doyle on 25 March 1961 and he never attended to Mr. Ball prior to his death. I am presuming that W.J. Doyle was possibly a Coroner of Superior, Montana and if so I wonder if a Coroner'x Report is available? I am given to understand that an Obituary appeared in Missoula, Oregon on 26 March 61 and if possible I wonder if someone can do a lookup for me. He was widowed and his late wife was Mary who predeceased him in 1959.
