After a bit of an enforced hiatus, I hope to be back in the swing of things in the New Year. In the meantime, I'm having a bit of practice in sorting out confusions, or in this case, asking help to sort out confusions.

Harold Norman Parker, born 12th Oct 1920 at Nantwich, Cheshire to Harold Parker and Sarah Emily Siddorn. Volume 8A Page 556. He died June Q 1976 at Congleton & Crewe District, Cheshire Volume 35 Page 0495.
He was at Crewe with his parents in 1939 and worked on the railways at that time. Parker cousins lived in Cheshire

I am endeavouring to identify his wife/wives. I don't have any clues.
These are my possibilities. Unfortunately all marriages are after the 1939 Register so I'm at a bit of a loss.

HAROLD PARKER married DORIS BAKER Mar Q 1940 West Cheshire Volume 8a Page 1381

HAROLD N PARKER married ELSIE M FERN Mar Q 1940 Crewe Cheshire Volume 8a Page 1325

HAROLD N PARKER married MARGARET STUBBS Mar Q 1944 Crewe Cheshire Volume 8a Page 741

HAROLD N PARKER married GERTRUDE TURNER Sep Q 1953 Wirral Cheshire Volume 10a Page 1828A

Infortunately no one is left of this generation to help and the younger ones I'm in touch with, don't know who their great aunty was. I would appreciate any suggestions on identifying the right one/s.

Lovely to see you back Sandra, Hoping all is well.
    An Elsie M. was born:-
    Births Mar 1914
    FERN Elsie M. x (Mother) Pointon, @ Congleton 8a -529
If you key that in to 1939 it will show if she is connected soon by marriage to a Mr Parker. If you look by search it will also show who else is in household in 1939.:)
    or another
    Births Dec 1915
    Fern, Elsie M.x Smith@ Warrington 8c-384...try same in 1939 :(

edit: these marriages show up on FreeBMD.

Well that wipes out the first two! Elsie M Fern fits the bill. Thank you.
I can't find any death for an Elsie M. Parker which would leave the coast clear for either, or both, of the other two, or maybe neither.
