I must say that I'm happy to have found this forum and hope to find some answers to questions I don't know who else to ask!

I'm British through and through, with nothing and no-one exotic in my tree: mostly English (lots of ag labs and paupers), some Irish and some Scottish. I'm working on the Welsh side with more than one person in my sights, but ... Mary Evans? John Davies? and both well before 1837, of course! But it would be nice to "round myself out" to the four countries, so to speak. :)

You have certainly arrived at the right place to ask questions about your family history - and find the answers to go with those questions. :)

Your ancestors may be ag labs and labourers and far from exotic, but they are yours :) and to be honest that is what the majority of us have in our lines too - good honest working people (with a few reprobates thrown in for good measure!).
Glad you have joined and fingers crossed we can help you find those elusive rellies.

Let's hope they are not hanging out waiting to get you for that, old Stone face.
Perchance you have arrived here in time to alleviate any stones & arrows cast down on you from annoyed ancestors. Hope we can sort them out for you. Welcome in.
